On Assignment: Baltimore CASH Campaign
The Baltimore CASH (Creating Assets, Savings and Hope) Campaign kicked off the 2011 tax season this week with a press conference that included several distinguished guests, including the Baltimore’s Mayor (Stephanie Rawlings-Blake) and two congressmen (Elijah Cummings – MD 7th Congressional District and John Sarbanes – MD 3rd Congressional District).
The Baltimore CASH Campaign is a non-profit organization and its mission is to promote and provide products and services that increase financial stability opportunities for low-income Baltimore-area families. This year they have 17 tax sites throughout Baltimore to prepare your taxes for free (if you qualify). The non-profit also added another layer to its free benefits for Baltimore families this season by offering assistance in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA) form.

Below are a few images from the event.
The bonus of this shoot is the fact that my wife is the Director of the Baltimore CASH Campaign (pictured above with the Baltimore Mayor). It was a great pleasure and honor to photograph my wife in her element, doing what she does best, running an important non-profit within the city we call home.
